OMG I am totally hooked on IRIS...well to be exact I was more excited when it was first announced TOP was going to be in it but now I'm loving the whole cast. I am the type who downloads the episodes and wait for the softsubs before viewing. However, this time around I just couldn't wait any longer and watched both episodes 1 and 2 raw and it's mind-blowing, intense, grabs the edge of your seat type of feeling I'm getting. I'm thinking all these heart-stopping moments I'm getting every few minutes throughout the episodes cannot be good but who cares Lee Byung Hun is so captivating. I've finally discovered how charismatic and charming he really is...yes yes I know it took forever but hey can you believe I'm fangirling now? Kim Tae Hee is undeniably beautiful and I have to say she has improved a lot since I've last seen her (which was more than a year ago I think). Kim So Yeon fits the agent role perfectly, Kim Seung Woo is totally buying me with his cold and calculative top agent protrayal, and Jung Ju Ho is great as the best friend. I cannot wait until next Wed for episode 3 it's so long.

Gosh it's been awhile since I've posted anything. Well nothing much actually I am going back to school and all the stressful things. Anyways these days I get much laughter just from my morning 1 hour bumper to bumper drive to school...yay so fun isn't it, but really imagine stuck in traffic every morning with a driver cracking up by one self you would think one is nuts right. LOL that's me....I listen to people calling in on their opinions about neighbors throwing trash into their recycle bins and trash, to some guy publishing a book stating women are much more happy without kids. Wow was that controversial or what, people were calling in with things like "my kids are the joy of my life" to "without my kids I will die." It's just too absurd to hear a man publishing a book about what he believes is a women's true happiness...isn't that stupid. For one he's not a woman and for second he's not the one having the baby so I think he needs to shut up. Okay enough of my so eccentric mornings these days I've been watching more American series can anyone believe that? It's been so long since I've watched any of these and now I'm watching Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, Flash Forward, House MD and thinking of watching Mercy. well that's enough for the day take care

wow it's been like 9 weeks since I've been here and the reason for my MIA status - too sad from missing everyone at Davis, I wish I can turn back time and re-live my last year at UC Davis....I met so many cool people and simply the year just few by with us having such a blast. Hey [info]cal671087 and [info]cjplbm what happened to our monthly luncheon? Oh wait it's only been three months since we've graduated but still I think we only meet up once...how sad....we must work on this.

okay now on to my boring self...I haven't done much lately and my parents thinks I'm the biggest couch potato they've ever seen. I've been blasting through dramas after dramas and [info]cjplbm I will try to write more reviews of the dramas I've watched but my reviews these days are gettting pretty grumpy. It must be influenced by me having no job I have so much time that I pick at everything. But nothing has changed I still love Ming Dao, Ohno Satoshi, and Goo Hye Sun. okay let's see if I can get some  reviews up but I recommend the korean drama - Bad Family, Kim Myung Min is great in here though it was his role in Beethoven Virus that made me a fan...how can anyone forget Maestro Kang.

okay so it's 4:30 AM and I cannot seem to go back to sleep and decided why don't I update livejournal? ( I know I'm so weird and in need of some help but what's new?) I haven't done much since graduation, job hunting to no luck and watching dramas basically sums up the past few weeks. I just finished korean drama Pure 19 and it was a great drama. I love it more than Boys Before Flowers, okay I admitted I was suck on BOF for a short time because of the hype but now that's over and done with. I haven't started a review for it since my previous one along with Cain and Abel got lost when my desktop decided it wanted to go through a system recovery. It's the July 4th weekend coming up and it's not that exciting isn't it?

So I’ve decided I will write a review on the dramas I finish watching. Please note it’s all based on my own opinion and views. I’m not going to go back and write reviews for all the dramas I’ve watched in the past. You’ll just have to take my word for it that those are pretty darn good dramas to watch and believe me I’m a really picky person, there are many dramas that never made it pass the 3rd episode. I think I should start with Korean hit drama Boys Over Flowers since it’s the most recent one I’ve finish. Oh and lets not forget it was the drama that resurrected my drama addiction. I’ve been sort of MIA on Korean dramas for a few months prior to this.
okay here goes....there's really no spoilers

I did nothing productive this past weekend....sorry I've tried really hard but youtube is just so amazing and Sunday April 12th rolled around and QQASN premeired, I have waited since December 2007 for this drama and finally it does not disappoint me, Ming Dao was awesome so I guess every Sunday will be like this
thanks to mingde@asianfanatics.net
stuck in front of the computer in my state and it's not helping when he continuously looks so handsome.....he's aging so well I use to think he looks baby-ish during Prince turn into Frog days

wow
I had an exciting spring break 2009 in Las Vegas, went there for 4 days? (wait I cannot count) was it 5 days? oh whatever it was for almost a week and had a blast, I went with  bunch of awesome friends and we walked more than half the Vegas strip from Treasure Island to New York New York that was like omg I only almost died of dehydration once and suffocation for dirty air twice but it's all good :D as long as I had fun that's all that matters. We also saw the"O" show and it was awesome, lots of pretty stunts and jumping in and out of the water I could hardly keep up. Overall the show was great but I did not get what story was being told. We ate at almost all the nice casino& resort in Vegas. Oh that's right we also went to Tao's nightclub in The Venetian....no wait we just got all dressed up and walked over there, waited in line, then in the end left and went to a bar&lounge at Encore. What I love most about this trip? it was all the food we ate :D

Now I'm back at school working on my last quarter at UC Davis before graduating. I'm taking 5 classes...this is like wow what a way to end my 4 years here, but 3 are lower divison and everyone says they are all easy so I'm in a dilemma onto whether to drop any of it. In the end I came to the conclusion of "oh whatever just take all 5 classes" yup I'm crazy but who did not know that by now.

Okay last I got suck into the Boys Over Flower hype....yup me the great me is now officially going head over heel for Goo Jun Pyo (Lee Min Ho), and yes I'm a team JoonDi (sorry to my sister) but Ji Hoo was never meant for Jan Di. I must admit I was a bit skeptical about this version to the Hana Yori Dango franchise but I gave it a chance and I think it's the best one. My sister was right Lee Min Ho pulled off Domyouji character because I was constantly telling her that no one can beat Masumoto Jun's protrayal Domyouji but I was wrong. (it hurts a bit to be wrong but in this case no hurt was impinged) Lee Min Ho fit the bill of what the Domyouji in the manga was suppose to be (and I love the manga by the way) he being extremely tall, handsome, crazy, and simple adorable around the only woman he'll ever love. okay done until next time take care

Title - I Do? / Xing Fu De Jue Ze
broadcasted : December 22, 2008 to Jan 27, 2009
main cast :
Blue Lan Zheng Long as Li Hao Zhe
Annie Liu Xin Yo as Summer Xia
David Chen as Joan Tan
Margaret Lin as Jian Mei Li

The statement "can't live without him, can't live with him" exactly described the young couple's short-lived marriage. They overcame tremendous obstacles to be together. Yet, their love was not enough to save their relationship from the stress of actually living together and his ex-girlfriend's sabotage. So they got a divorce. But, separation only made them even more miserable. With their families and friends' intervention, the couple decided to give each other a second chance. taken from dramawiki

Overall, I really enjoyed this drama and I can tell why it did not get high ratings because the drama takes a different turn from the typical Taiwanese idol drama but don't let the low rating keep you from giving this drama a chance, I finished it in 2 days and love it. Oh and the themesong sung by Fish Leong "Shu Yu" is really addicting. Blue Lan and Annie Liu are so cute together and they will have a movie together called "Love Till the End" though it does not focus on them. I hope to see them paired up again in a new drama someday because their chemistry was great in here.

this scene is so cute....one of the many scenes I like and if I was to list them out it'll be too much

okay don't want to spoil the rest of the story. Overall, I really enjoyed this drama and it being the first China drama for Ming Dao I had to watch it and it did not disappoint. Ming Dao's acting in here exceeds my expectations, am looking forward to his new projects.

Today I took my anatomy lab midterm marking an end to a full week of stress. I don't feel as if I did well and I'm worried for this lab midterm since it is 40% of my grade. Other than that, I have not done much recently besides studying, I need to find a drama to watch and relieve some of the stress. I'm thinking of watching the new Ohno drama "Uta No Oniisan" but I'm a bit skeptical about it. He was awesome in Maou and I cannot imagine him as a funny guy. My friend told me that he is a funny guy in real life but his Maou performance really blew me away. It'll be hard to top that peformance but since it's Ohno  Satoshi drama I will support him and watch it.
Besides wanting to watch the new Ohno drama I also need to finish the korean drama called "Beethoven Virus" but that drama is seriously dragging towards the end. It started out great then went downhill, the only thing keeping me hooked in the classical music concept. Seriously, you cannot go wrong with classical music but hands down to the Japanese drama "Nodame Cantabile." That drama mixed classical music with comedy romance = great.

I'm still waiting for Lin Ming Dao's new dramas. I have not seen much of him since his last idol drama in 2007. But I am happy with the recent news and seems like 2009 will be his year with multiple projects airing. Still waiting for "Qiao Qiao Ai Shang Ni" to air in March, seems like I've been waiting forever for this drama to air. I'm pretty excited about this role of his where he'll protray a rich playboy then in June his china drama "Wei Xiao Zai Wo Xin" will air. He just finished filming "Stand By You" in Beijing before the Chinese New Year with his most famous co-star to date Chen Qiao En. Seriously, there is something going on between these two people but that is another story.  The best news of all is he'll return to idol dramas with "Happiness At Next Station" with Yoo HaNa. Even though this drama is still in the development stage I do hope for it to pull through since I saw HaNa in My Lucky Star and she did well for her first drama.
